My areas of specialization are Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science. My research focuses on embodied cognition and predictive processing.
I am currently a NeuroMind research fellow at the Ruhr Universität Bochum where I also completed my PhD in 2020. Before this fellowship, I was a teaching fellow at the University of Edinburgh.
In my doctoral research, I explored debates in philosophy of perception, incl. intentionality and accuracy conditions, and how this relates to the role and nature of the perceiver. This relation was investigated with a particular focus on self-perception and other-agent perception. The predictive processing framework was used as a background hypothesis.
